Time flies...

Wow, it's been a while! The last 4 weeks have been pretty eventful. Globat keeps growing along and it's fun to sit back and see how the team we created is now starting to take things into their own hands. Lou Rio has been promoted to VP of Operations as he is one of the best process-oriented people I've met. He's already done lots of good things for the company and I have no doubt that there's plenty more to come. It doesn't cease to amaze me how powerful the right person in the right position can be. It's good to see it happen.

Personally, the main event of the month was my decision to pack my bags and spend two weeks at a health and fitness boot camp back East. Chris was crazy enough to join in and together we spend the first two weeks of December on a 1,200 calorie diet, got up at 6 in the morning and worked out between 4 and 6 hours every day. Quite powerful, I have to say. I feel amazing and loosing 20 pounds has definitely not hurt me either. Chris lost a whooping 10 pounds as well although he definitely didn't need to. You just can't help it when your butt is slapped around between cardio, weights, water exercise, and super circuit. The place we went to is located on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina; gorgeous area with over 50 golf courses in the vicinity. It was quite an experience and I’m definitely planning on going back again sometime in 2006. They got me so fired up that I’ve been going to the gym nearly every morning at 7am. I just hope I’ll keep this drive! ;-)
