Your Credit - To Protect and To Serve
I have always been very protective of my credit. A perfect credit history along with a high FICO score translates into dollars saved whenever you are in need of financing. When you are an entrepreneur no bank will give you any form of even somewhat attractive financing unless you have good credit (along with some other assets). I've spead my "protect your credit" gospel to a bunch of people and over the years have compiled a list of interesting and helpful links.
Protect Your "Good Name"
Most of the links below list information provided by the Federal Trade Commission relating to credit and credit protection for consumers (some help businesses, too). Click on the title of any topic to view more information directly from the FTC or download the PDF version (better, if you want to print things out).

Learn why blocking may be a problem, and how to avoid it.

Great Response from Globat!
I firmly believe that it is important for folks to hear the good as well as the complaints. I complained to you earlier this week about problems I was having with Globat. In one case the specifics were solved, on others they are working on it. Thank you.
But I wanted to especially compliment the response. Folks from billing and tech support have called, emailed, and sincerly tried to make things better. I appreciate the kindness they have exhibited, and that even when they have not had the answers they have tried to find it, with no runaround or back and forth.
I am ending this week a much happier customer and more hopeful that the kinks can be worked out. Thank you for whatever part you played in making it smoother and congrats on the dedication of your staff.
If I can be of service in any way, please feel free to contact me.
